I just reread your post. Are you talking about the bulbs or the whole thing. If it's the bulbs then:

Reach down there and twist the socket about 1/4 turn CCW and pull straight out. Then replace the bulb. Don't get fingerprints on the bulb (depending on the type you are installing). Use a cloth. Stick the bulb through the rear of the fixture and lock it back in place. The sockets are on the back side of the reflectors. They are in front of the batteries. You'll see the wires leading into the headlight socket. If I remember right, the drivers side is the tightest fit for your hand. Just be patient. There is enough harness to bring it up to the top to make the bulb change.

Thanks Alan. I should have been more specific. I meant the assembly. My lenses are kind of a dingy yellow. I was going to try and clean them and if that didn't work, replace them. I have a manual but it doesn't mention the assembly R&R. Can anyone help on this?

Give this a whirl (no Punn)

A buddy of mine used Flitz Flitz website on his with the drill wheel on his 95 explorer and brought them back to crystal clear.

Faq:

Can I Use Flitz On Plastics?

Flitz paste or Liquid Plastic Cleaner work great on most plastics. It will remove oxidation, graffiti, stains and minor scuffs from Plexiglass, Lucite, Acrylics, Vinyl windows (like in convertible roofs), and many other plastics. Some plastics are too soft or are made of various materials that Flitz does not work on. We recommend that you test the Flitz polish in a small, hidden area to be sure.
