I have read quite a bit on this site about our headlights and how poor they light up the road at night. My 98 was the same way till tonight. I had in the past change the bulbs to brighter ones and so forth and still was not completely satisfied with them. I took a closer look at them tonight and found out that the beams are adjusted to high up from the factory. I took a # 15 torx screwdriver and turn the screw below the headlamp assembly clockwise 3 full turns. It brought the beams of light back down to earth where you could see the road again!!! I hope this bit of info can help somebody see the road again too! :) :D :D

Good point. Although I replaced my bulbs with Silverstars, I too found that the lights were aimed too high from the factory. After lowering the rear suspension by 1 3/4" I had to lower the lights even more. It helps visibility a lot.

I believe the silverstars are what I put in last that I purchased at Wal-Mart. They work well after adjusting the beams downward.
