Watching you tube vids whole corner of headlamp unit needs to come out for high and low beam and front turn signal replacement. Seems pretty easy but would like to upgrade high and low beams etc when I’m doing this to get maximum longevity and light out of bulbs LED I suppose I will order them and change after camper is off and truck is in the garage Lots a daylight now hardly ever drive in dark in summer time

Is it not covered under your warranty???

There are separate bulbs for low beams and high beams.

The low beam is a H11LL and the high beam is a 9005LL.

I had great luck with my CSP Mini LED’s and would highly recommend them. I do have some of the 9005’s for sale in the classifieds.

Bulbs are only covered for 12mo/12K miles.

I was just looking at some LED bulbs and came across this:

" DOT/SAE/FVMSS108: NO (NOT STREET LEGAL IN HEADLIGHTS IN USA)"

I just need bulbs not the whole assembly. Lots to know about head lights theses days. Might have to take out a small loan just to led the front end. How’s the rear about the same I would expect. So will the led last forever or/or be that much better. I would like to do this just once and be done

I’m seeing on the street now headlights that are so bright they must be Illegal . At least they are most annoying to other drivers . Also i might as well up grade the turn signals as well. So how much does a stock factory passenger side low beam cost as in one bulb. Keep it simple

Putting an LED bulb into a housing designated for a halogen bulb is technically illegal everywhere in the US.

That being said if you get quality bulbs, like the CSP Mini’s I mentioned, you aren’t likely to have any issues.

So for $50 I can get a stock low beam passenger side. Other than the pain in the butt to change out I think it might be the way to go for me. I drive very little at night in the winter the snow is a very good light reflector and Anchorage is a extremely well lit city hey watch out for that moose

I would not buy a bulb from the dealer, I’d simply go down to your local auto parts store and get a quality bulb for a lot less than OEM.

Well and here we are....
I told you not to buy a Tradesman back then because of the lack of equipment - like proper headlights and other goodies that you already asked for.
Now you want to upgrade to a higher trim level with all the obstacles like compatibility and street legality.
You should have bought the right truck first hand.

Sorry for the rant.

I need room to spread out. And only really need a regular cab the camper fits it truck fits in the garage I’m
Very happy with what I have and don’t need LED lights cameras etc etc my rant is over ha ha
