Great spot for the ballast. So what do you think of the lighting?:)

Would not want to be with out! Current ballast is 35 watt. 35/50 watt dual ballast is now available. More light output. :--)

H1 HID lighting is now available. Will upgrade my PIAA projector fog light's sometime in the future? Oo.

Is it really worth the cost... Matt

YES, absolutely! The HID low beam's are whiter and brighter than the halogen high beams. Even one HID low beam is whiter and brighter than two halogen low beam's.

I will never have a vehicle without HID EVER! Less eye strain on long trips, traffic signs jump out and you can see most stuff in front of you. If you have to have the best go with Hella ballasts are the way to go. It is OEM on almost all cars with HID.

P. S. I have four HID bulbs on my truck two driving and two that are pointed a little further down the road.

Is this a plug-n-play type of thing, or is there wiring involved? Other than the ballast, what else would one need? Can this also be used with non-sport head lights?

Thanks,Rob

HID lights- the DOWN side..

HID lights are great for the person behind them, but if your'e in front of them you wont think thy're so great. There are at least two seperate lobbying groups attempting to get legislation introduced to ban, or severely regulate aftermarket installation of HID lamps here in California. The factory installed HIDS are not that bad, its all the idiot rice-boys with ill-conceived half ass installations with illegal bulbs that are causing havoc...

Is there anything that California is not trying to regulate? :-laf

HID lighting is starting to come down to an age thing. I am seeing more and more reports that seem to say that eyes past 50 are more affected than younger eyes. Like someone said, great to behind, not so great to have them coming at you.
