2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Headlight Removal

Headlight removal can't be as difficult as I made it last night. After removing all the screws, and marker lights I had a f... . of a time getting the light out. Then even a more difficult time putting it back in. The adjusting screws rubbed against the metal on the fenders etc etc... . What is the trick?

If you just had to replace the bulb you can access it from under the hood. Find the socket and twist it a quarter turn I believe counterclockwise and should pull out. It's tight and helps to have small hands and fingers or be a contortionist. Don't touch new bulb with fingers tho, or it won't last very long. It should just twist back in the lens.

The trick is ..... There isn't one. I have taken mine out several times, I have even replaced all the front lights, but it is still a bear , like you mentioned, the screews and housing catch on the bumper and grill.
