Attention: TDR Forum Junkies i remeber back when i first joined..... a member had troubles with his head lights... . and a month ago i was drive to a restraunt to take the girl friend out and i noticed that my head lights weren't working... . pulled over. . 10 min later i had the dash board pulled apart and the head light switched apart i started jumping the pluggot head lights, dash lights, but no running lights... . i gave up got a ride home stole mother's car and took her out.
next day... .
drove the truck home (during the day) and started tracing, cursing#@$%!, repalced the head light switch and when i was about to give up my dad comes out... "try holding the case of the switch (that is metal and grounded) to something metal like the brake pedal. " i did so and all my lights turned on!!! Oo.
head lights not working check the ground on the switch..... and allllll other grounds first
