I bought some bulbs on ebay, supposed to be three times as bright as stock. They made one heck of a difference, and was only 10-20 dollars. I am happy with them.

Transplanting Sport lamps into a non-Sport 2000 Ram, wiring for the BriteBox effect, and making the simple fogs-on-with-high beam modification will add ten watts to each headlamps low beam light. The huge difference comes with the high beams—OEM allows but 130 watts of forward lighting while the setup mentioned in the first sentence provides 445 watts forward. The increase is dramatic.

I have tried 3 different bulbs, and ended up with silverstars which was the best of them all but still left me wanting more.

Now that they both are burned out I am looking for something better, I do have the fogs on with high beams. I am really looking for more on low.

Depends on how much you are willing to spend. I went ahead and bit the bullet and got the hella bi-xenon lights. Are worth it in my opinion. After they are lit, they only take something like 3 watts a piece to keep them lit.

WDaniels, which Hellas did you get? Do you have a link for them? TIA

They are the Bi-Xenon fixtures that came in the Audi A8 series car from 2 and 3 years ago. I had a friend get them for me. Its quite a mod and not for the faint of heart. He is on this site. His name is Bob Robertson. I used to have his number on my cell phone("used to" is the operative phrase here)until I dropped my cell phone in about 25' of salt water in St. Petersburg Fl. On the up side, I have a personal line to Poseidon now. I'll try to get his number again for you.

WD,

So it sounds like you took the bi-xenon modules and installed them inside the oem headlights, kind of like what JKloppe did here on his 3rd gen--https://www.turbodieselregister.com/forums/3rd-generation-ram-forum-no-engine-transmission-discussions/191334-how-hid.html

Sounds nice, I bet it works great. Do you have any pix??
