Headlights

The headlights on my '99 don't seem to put out as much light as on other vehicles I have owned. I've read articles in Four Wheeler where they were very critical of the stock lights on Dodge trucks. Does anyone know if there is an upgrade bulb for these trucks?

I have found that by re-adjusting your lights yourself on a empty road hopefully with markings on the roadway by covering one light at a time with a towel ect. . and adjusting the fixture usually up and directing the pattern left to right until the projected light suits you I like for my lights to light the outsides of the highway as deer are plentifull and early reconigation is the answer to avoidance. I also have a 92 cad that has the worst low beams as the lens diffuses the light so any distance is impossible. Hope this helps try it heck it probably can't hurt.

Hmmm , my '99 has the best lights of any truck I've driven. I did adjust them as stated above, worked for me.

Here we go again, looks I may get Tommy Too Stock (TLippy) all riled up but, I replaced my OE headlight bulbs with the PIAA Platinum Series Super Whites just after they were introduced on the market. These bulbs are a little brighter but, MUCH whiter. I have had mine installed for over a year now and I still love 'em. Next best thing to H. I. D.
