A few weeks after I bought my 99 Ram in January of this year, I noticed a little dirt/stain in the headliner (wish I had noticed before I picked it up!) Now that the weather is nicer, I want to try and clean it. Has anyone found anything that works on these light colored headliners? I don't want to make a bad situation worse. Has anyone used the Mopar cleaner?

Thanks

I used to work at a dealer in CA that had some good stuff that smelled like lighter fluid (or mineral),and did that stuff work! Sorry, I never got the name if it,but I think they got it from an Auto Magic dealer.
I would suggest checking shops for something like that because of the strength of the stuff... I think the regular foamy cleaners will just smear and stain that light colored headliner. I also recommend scotch-guarding the headliner when you're done.

I found a business card for Auto Magic of Ventura CA,(805)642-3131,they might be able to let you know if there's someone in your area.

Vic,

I use Blue Coral Dri. Clean, upholstery & Carpet cleaner. Its a pink liquid. Can be found at any autoparts store. Consumer Reports ranked it # 1 for Auto Upolstery cleaning. It works good.
