Headliner help

How much should I be paying for a headliner for my 95 Ram standard cab? Mopar4less ended up giving me three prices from 84 to 117 dollars each of the three times I talked with them. When I decided to buy they called me back and said UPS would not ship this item and it would be $75. 00 to send it by a freight carrier. The local Dodge dealership wants $134. 00. How much are you guys paying and where are you buying them? Thanks.

Give a call to a local auto trim shop. You should be able to get yours re-covered for $35-$75 depending on the material you use. You are not stuck with just the stock stuff. Almost any material can be used.

My wife's '95 regular cab SLT has the gray interior and it has an overhead console without the temp/compass. A couple of months ago I replaced the headliner and the part number I got is 5ER01RF1. The list price on the invoice is $110. 25.



I ordered mine from a dealer 150 miles away,and UPS would not ship it because the box is considered "oversize". It did come in a rediculously bigger box. Anyway,I had to go pick it up myself.

Thanks Charlie and Mike. You have been very helpful. The dealership quoted a price of $112. 00 this time and gave the the name of a guy who specializes in recovering headliners. haven't called him yet. After talking to him I'll decide which way I'm going to go. Thanks again.
