Headliner Removal Instructions

I have a favor to ask - I'd like to install my cab lights but haven't received my service manual yet. As I understand it the instructions in the manual regarding headliner removal are very important.

Would it be possible for someone to e-mail or fax me the pages in the manual describing the proper way to remove/reinstall the headliner? If it's too much trouble don't worry about it, I can live without them 'til I get the manual but I'm a-gittin' itchy lookin' at 'em just settin' there in the box...

Rob,I dont have a manual but I am in the autobody trade. Remove the a pillar trim,the rear corner trim and the trim along the upper door openings. Also the trip computer and dome light. Most of the trim is snapped in place with a few phillips screws thrown in. You also will need to remove the shoulder harnesses. Pop the trim off at the upper ends and youll find a torx bolt. If you take your time and not force anything you should be allright. Youll surprise yourself on how simple these things are put together.

98. 5 are the same so hopefully you can get a copy of the manual. I was wrong on my first post. I was thinking of the regular cab when I mentioned removing the shoulder harnesses. The rear harnesses may have enough slack to allow the corner trim to be pulled far enough out of the way. I tend to forget that someone who doesnt work on cars day in and day out may have a more difficult time doing a certain operation
