Can anyone tell me how to go about re-attaching the cloth of my headliner on the front side? It's not bad yet, but sometimes I get about an inch or two that is starting to come loose from the board it's glue to and I just rub my hand on it and it re sticks for a short ime, then starts to hang down again.
Thanks.

check you local wal-mart or similar store for some spray carpet adhesive. I've used it before in putting headliners in and worked great.

I just had mine replaced at a local convertible and boat-cover shop. Cost less than $100 and they had the truck for about four hours. The shop simply purchased the new material(color matched backing and felt already fastened together), cut and installed it to fit. After removing the old headliner of course. It is not the glue that deteriorates but the backing material.

It’s a keeper.

Hey Dale,
What convertible shop did your headliner? I have a convertible that I'm going to sell and I'm thinking of having the top replaced. I already have a new top, just don't have the time to (attempt) tackling it.
