Just wanted to give you guys a heads up to examine your hose from the turbo to the IC. My air cleaner to turbo hose assy (stock) appears to rub on it under a load or perhaps worse under a load. The hose clamp on the intermediate plastic deal appears to be the culprit. I cant tell you if the hose clamp is in the facory orientation or if I moved it when looking it over changing oil etc. I've got a samll hole now, whistles like crazy but no EGT influence that I can tell.

Ordering a new hose today.

yeh, I noticed something similar on mine tonight. The hose has some thread reinforcements that are starting to fray. I am going to have to get on that before it gets any worse.

I went to the dealer on Friday afternoon- the front line service guy was semi useful (he introduced me to the Service mgr. ):)

Technically the hose was not covered past 36k miles, but the service mgr agreed that Dodge/Cummins never intended for the two assemblies to chafe like that. He paid for the hose, let me install it, and I'll make sure that clamp is out of the way.
