I just went through an issue with fuel pressure loss. I had to pull my fuel sending unit out after eliminating the FASS pump as being the problem. I found black sediment clogging the pick up screen on the bottom of the unit. I noticed the float on the pick up arm was worn on both ends and that was the "black sediment". 200,000 miles of bouncing around wore it down combined with other sediment, clogged it up, causing loss of suction and "0" psi when running. Just thought I would mention this, as I've never seen anything posted about this! Good luck!

Sediment and other random crap in the tank is the typical cause when all other points check out. It is the random/intermittent pressure drops that drives every one nuts.
