I need a link to cleaning the heat door because a mouse used it as a home.
Do I have to remove the heater core to clean things or is there a better/easier way?
Thanks.
This is an early 98 12 valve,

I'd start by dropping the fan out. It's on the passenger side by your feet, held on with three nuts (or screws") with 10mm heads I think, once your drop the fan out you can clean up inside. Typically this is a place for leaves and other debris to collect, maybe if your lucky this is where the nest is. Sorry, that's as far as I've gone into my heating ducts.

Mike's right. Except the heads are 8mm. I've taken a piece of 5/8" hose and duct tape it to a shop vac. You can get the smaller hose down in there pretty easy, just don't run it like that a long time. I imagine it's pretty hard on the vac motor. My '95 came from north Georgia and my '98 from north Florida. They were both FULL of pine needles.
