How Do I get rid of the heat that is blowing down on my feet from the heater system? All of my controls are set to the off position and when the truck comes up to operating temp. it starts cooking our feet.

I don't want to run the air to cure this problem with fuel being outrageous.

Any help or findings would be cool so to speak.

Kyle,

My problem is with the air. When I turn on the air it blows thru the lower vent to the footwell area as well as the upper vent even though I have selected only the upper level. When its hot outside my feet are freezing. The way I solved this was to put a ziplock bag over the vent and held it in place with a rubber band. Used a freezer bag to do it too. Hope you can solve your problem.

to answer both ? they are not the same problum , the heat is controled by a valve on one of the hoses from the eng. the AC is a door that directs the air [ hot or cold ] by the nob on the dash , now this is where they are connected , all of these actions are motored [ vacume diaphrams ] by vacume from the pump on the back side of the power steering , its possible that the pump is going bad or maybe just a disconected vacume line or other vacume leak or the vacume motor. this is what we call dash diving and you need a young limber body whitch mine is less and less so as time goes by , after thats done you'll need a chiropractor.
