Heat seats swap?

Has anyone started with just power cloth seats and swapped in the factory heated leathers and switches?



Im just curious because Ive been on a hunt for a truck with heated seats, however they are usually out of my price range, so the next best thing would be to swap them.

I did a swap like that. I have a 05 quad cab big horn edition with the upgraded cloth seats. I found new factory leather seat upholstery on ebay in the mid $400 range. Then I picked up seat heaters and painless fuse block from Geno's.



Installing the upholstery was a lot of work. I installed the seat heaters by following an article in one of the TDR magazines. I've been very pleased with the heaters and the upholstery.
