2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission heated mirror not working

I have been messing with my driver mirror all winter and have not been able to fix it permanently. How does the mirror come out I have tried and don't want to break anything. It is not heating but I know power is at the mirror because I got a tester and can get it behind the mirror. Kevin

The heater assy is replaceable sepertaly at the dealer. The mirror glass just pops out,you will have to put some pressure on it to get it out.
