Heated seats on with remote start? Nitro

OK, I have an '07 Nitro w/remote start. I notice that when you cycle the remote start, it turns on the rear defroster after the engine has started. Does anyone know if the heated seats can be enabled to come on when you do a remote start?

is this a factory remote start?

Yes, it is as it came shipped from the factory, not a dealer add-on or aftermarket system.

That I have no idea about. I know it can be done with aftermarket systems. I would tell you to contact the dealer but they probably don't have a clue. It could probably be done with a $3. 00 dollar relay but you'd have to wire it in yourself. Not much help I know.

Thanks for the attempt. I am going to ask my SM, but I just wanted to know beforehand if anyone knew if it could be done with a simple on/off using the scan tool.
