Hey Roller,
I had the same thing happen to me and yes it was a broken heating element in the seat cushion. The back was fine. I was lucky and found a complete set of NOS Tan Leather covers with the heating element on E-Bay for $300. 00. Dodge wanted $850 just to replace the one cushion. You can try looking there. I replaced all the covers myself in a day. It was a little tricky but if you can work with wrenches it isn't that bad. Beats the cost at Dodge by a long way. If you need help let me know and I will do what I can to explain how to get it done.
