Heated Seats ?

Is there a reason that it seems you can only get heated seats in a truck with leather interior?



I'm getting cloth can't I just add aftermarket heaters to my seats.



Or am I missing something.

I have used heated seat inserts from AudioVox. They have a high and a low setting and get real warm. It does not matter if you have leather or fabric seats with these units.

I've seen heated seats on a lot of Volkswagens with cloth interior. I don't think leather is a must.



Katzskins does aftermarket covers as well as heated seat inserts, but I think they don't sell current year products retail (only through authorized installers).

I'm pretty sure this all came about by market demand, just like the SOFT springs on a 1 ton dually.



People like leather seats, but b*itch abouth them being cold in the winter, they also buy a 1 ton truck and want the ride of a luxury car ... ... ... ... ... ..... go figure!



Mine is in the field or off road doing it's job a fair amount of the time, I like a nice ride, but the soft springs have to go!!!



Oh, leather seats are easier to clean horse I TRIED TO BY-PASS THE CUSSING FILTER and dog prints off of!



The guys making a statement and not wanting a real truck are obviously being heard!

Heated seats

A solution to heated seats.



Buy one of those bags you heat in the Micro Wave and take it out and set on it on those cold mornings.



Your can also buy a round disk that we use for puppies to keep them warm when first born. Heat it in the Micro and put a towel around it and sit on that.

you can't even get heated seat by getting leather... I tired, you have to BUY the Laramie package. About 4000 grand plus. so I have unheated leather seat, had no problems with a cold ass yet and I'm in MT and it's snowing

Heated seats??? I'd love to have cooled seats!!

Of course the alltime record low for Big PIne is 45 degrees! Right now it's 7:21, November 28th and it's 80 degrees!
