heated wipers anyone using them

Love my truck but it takes forever to warm up thank goodness for heated seats... . now is anyone using heated wipers and if so how do they work?

I got mine from Geno's 2 yrs ago, and they work fine.

Have the same blades lasted 2yrs with no problems?

Yes, have about 200K on them.

On a similar note but different—I've had the washer heater now featured in Genos for about 4 years and it works awesome! It originated with Jacobs Electronics (racing ignitions). Many of the original units had thermostats that failed after a year - mine included. An electric hot water heater thermo was the replacement and PCV drainpipe as the housing with some leds for status lites. Yea- sounds like a reinvent but the core unit has worked great. 120• washer fluid is nice!!



Anybody with the heated blades having problems with skipping at high road speeds or is the profile low enough??

I don't use the wipers at high road speeds cause I use Aquapel on the windshield, its like Rain X, but much better, last for 6 to 9 months.
