Heater Hoses

On an 04 - does anyone have an image or drawing of the heater hose connections from the head/block to the heater inlet and outlet. Removed mine, now not sure where the new hoses go. Head hose to upper or lower heater; block hose to upper or lower heater connection? Should have taken a photo before pulling the hoses out.

Excellent photo work.
Was surprised to find a lot of scale deposit in that tube coming up from the head - even after doing a 3-day flush. No telling what is in the heater core. Makes me wonder if the Zerex G-05 is really a 5-year product or even really works adequately. May do another extended flush. Anyone have recommendations for a flush/cleaner product, other than Prestone and Peak?
