Heavy duty clutch

My son does a lot of hauling with our 92 3/4 ton diesel pickup.

We are getting a rear engine seal replaced and are looking at putting a new clutch in while we have it down. It is a stanard 5 speed and wonder if it can take an upgrade to a heavy duty competetion type clutch and pressurre plate. It has a 4:10 rear end and he has a heavy foot.
