I'm now using my 1997 for work. Unfortunately, I spend a lot of time in areas with red soil. I'd like to purchase a pair of those all weather floor mats with the deep grooves, but they are hard to find for a '97. Which brand is the best, where can I purchase them, and do they still make them for the '97 shaped floor board?

thanks

Try these: husky

I had a set for my previous truck (GMC) and LOVED THEM!! you can't beat Geno's price either.

Husky Liners

A friend refered me to Husky liners and I have not been disapointed. They hold alot of water, mud, and dirt and cover the carpet completely. :D

I just put in a set of Husky mats from Geno's this morning. I think they are exactly what I wanted for work. They should catch dirt and mud and will be easy to clean. I also got a set of seat covers which I also think will be perfect for work.

I have Fox Weatherboots which are spendy but real nice. Had Husky's in my 98 and really liked them too.

Had the weathertech ones in a work car and wore a hole in them in about 6 months. Worthless as far as I am concerned.

All in all, I'd do the Husky's again. Best bang for the buck.

Everyone seems to like the Husky liners, myself included. I have had them in my Grand Cherokee, and two Rams, and am very happy with them. I buy tons of stuff from Cabelas. They have the same price as what I saw on the "Geno" link.

catch all Xtreme

I use the xtreme by catch all really like them have them in the ctd. wifes jeep liberty, and the last durango i had

I'm running the Extreme Floor mats found at Pep Boys. They have large grooves to catch dirt. They also have large rubber knobbies on the back. The floor mats stay exactly where you place them. I ran the same mats in my 96' and my Jeep.

I have and like the Husky floor liners. They cover nearly all of the carpet and are easy to clean. I have purchased mine through Cabelas, but looking at the Genos link it looks like they are about the same price. I know that some time that Cabelas will run a sale on them and you can save about $5. 00 a set, but that is all though.
