Attention: TDR Forum Junkies 
I watched a KW the other day as he was moving a big dumpster around. It got me to thinking of a different manual trans. for my truck. Some type of manual trans that is more prone to shifting without the clutch. I know that there are guys that can shift the NV4500 with no problems and I wish I was one of them. I have also heard and read about the synchro's are faced with auto trans clutch band material and its not a good idea to shift without the clutch. .
But with the big rigs trans. , they are designed to shift without the clutch. But you run into problems with having to change the clutch and all that other stuff to make it work even if it would. But I still would like to know what it would take to put a different transmission in my truck.
