Heavy frost & Hi idle

For the first time this year I needed to drive my 6. 7L early. I cranked it set the high idle and turned on the eBrake. Within just a few minutes my windshield was defrosting. It worked great. It was obvious that the engine was making an odd sound due to eBrake on. :-laf

It will just high idle on its own if its cold enough. If I am about 32 or below I just start it and go inside and about 1-2 min later I can hear it idle up to about 1100rpm on its own. Pretty cool.
