I'm new here, but my new 2004 Quad Cab 4x4 SLT with HO CTD and 48RE is my third Ram with a CTD. My first 4x4 had a five-speed transmission and the second was an ETH/DEE 4x4.

I'm glad to be here and am ready to soak up everyone's extensive knowledge of Ram CTD's!

:D

There's plenty of knowledge on here for sure, and I've recieved lots of tips and ideas. I'm on my second CTD, and since you've had three of 'em I'm betting you have some good experience to offer too. Welcome aboard!

Welcome Phil!

Sounds like a nice ride - have you cought the bombing bug yet? Or are you happy just leaving near perfection alone? :D

Welcome Phil : I'm pretty new myself just registered in Aug 2003. I think there is a lot of good information on here, and a lot of knowledgeable people that could help a person out with their CTD. Oo.

I'm trying to resist the BOMBing bug. The truck runs great as-is (except for the oil smell I also had on my last one). I'm going to try moving the firewall vent line back, but I don't know if it will help.

I'm in the middle of a Jeep project to run in 4WD&SU magazine and will probably not start voiding my '04's warranty until after it gets finished . . . :D

Welcome Phil! Of course, you didn't tell them you've been lurking for a while ;) Mike Ames is here, too, although he uses a different 'handle' as his TDR user ID--I'll leave it to him to pipe in with that.

Congrats on the new truck!

Mark

Hey, Mark!

I noticed on a thread search I did on where to mount trailer brake controllers that you had posted some photos of your truck. It looks great!

Now, if I could only find a place to mount my controller that looks absolutely stock . . .

;)

Welcome Phil! I guess that diesel bug is biting a lot of Jeepers lately. :D So what's that project you're working on? Maybe you should answer via PM since this is a Dodge board. :)

Hey Phil, welcome TDR is a great forum to get info on our trucks. Just remember real trucks don't have spark plugs. RHINO 50
