Attention: TDR Forum Junkies New user. I've had my 2004. 5 600 Cummins about four weeks, about 1300 miles. Dealer calls today indicates a recall on freeze plugs, (possible undersize with failure). I dropped of the truck and was told a cold pressure test would be performed. If only one freeze plug failed, then that plug would be replaced. If two or more fail the engine would have to be replaced. I'm in total shock. I can't imagine the dealer possibly switching out the engine without additional problems occuring. It's my first diesel truck. The reason I purchased the Cummins was it's reputation and all Ive read on this board. I need a tranquilizer.
