HELP, 48re won't disengage

48 re, ats vb and co pilot, hd tc, OK, it almost stalls the engine at stop lights. I have to really hold the brake as it wants to keep going. still shifts 1,2,3,od, although not cosistantly. some times it will shift fast and by 25mph will be in 3rd. Is it the valve body, tc or what else? Help plaese.

Your co-pilot is set to unlock at too low a speed. Bump the lockup speed a little higher for daily driving... lower it when you go to the track.

Thanks i have it set at the max!, 50 mph. It should un lock and 18mph min. also I tryed turning it off and disconnecting it,-- same prob. I just pulled the pan on the transmission and found exessive debri! It was installed only 2 mo. ago and the magnet was full if metal, even a couple of small chips. ATS said i need to get the pcm read for codes to be able to go any further. I will be there at 9 am to see was it says.
