Here's the background: 99 2500 4X4 QC 47k mi. Ran great in 4wd and 2wd.

Installed the Skyjacker D25 front coils and rear add a leaf. This is a leveling kit, which raises front 2-2. 5 in and rear about an inch. (no control arm replacement). Took to dealer for alignment. Drives great (hadn't put into 4wd). Well winter has come and when I put it in 4wd I get a vibration starting at 25 mph. This does not happen in 2wd. All I can think is that the ujoint is having some problems due to caster. How do you check to determine if ujoints are bad? Any other thoughts are welcome.

thanks

If I were you I'd look at the driveline angles. I don't know how much you raised it overall??? I had a simular occurance on a 77 CJ-5, and an 83 Toyota that I put a suspension under at different times. One (Jeep) had a vib in 4x around 25mph and the other (Toyota) came in around 37 mph. Both were corrected by either shimming the trans/transfer case down, to lessen driveline angle, or shimming the axle to lessen the pinion shaft angle.
