I've got a '95, 1500 x-cab 4x4. The darn thing falls on it's face when I step on it when warm. So far I've rebuilt trans (fried), replaced O2 sensor, (damaged during trans work), replaced plenum gasket,(was told this was common problem, they suck in and leak air. was ok). Checked fuel pressure, 40 psi, all the time. No codes, and has been scanned several times, all readings appear normal when scanned. It runs ok when cold. This is starting to upset me greatly, as I am going to have to plow with this truck, and when I put it in reverse, or step on it to go it stalls or stumbles.

Any help would be greatly apreciated, TIA,

pete

The converter plugged would bother mostly top end. I will check it any way, no stone left unturned! :) Today I checked the TPS with an ohm meter, looking for a flat spot. Perfecto! :{

I worked at a midas muffler for five years, one time i had a sunfire come in that barely ran at all because the converter was so stopped up. And got worse as the engine warmed up. the exhaust gases have more volume when the engine is warm. Im glad to see your not throwing parts at the problem. good luck.
