:--) I am not sure whats going on. I got off the interstate and turned right and I am not even getting any boost. truck is running on straight motor and I don't have a clue what wrong. I called ATS and they asked me to check my inter cooler hoses, but they looked good. I cant hear any leaks or anything. I really could use some help, and nobody can look at it until next Wednesday. :(

Ditto on the intercooler hoses & clamps. Get plenty of light on them and look closely. If there is any way the air can get out you will get no or very low boost. Check for splits in the hose.

Josh,

It sounds like you're saying it is not just the gauge that is reading zero boost, but that it *feels* like it too?

If you can't find a leak - the turbo is old enough to be seized up if conditions haven't been ideal, or there was some inherent weakness to start with. On mine I can usually hear the turbo spinning down for 5 seconds or so after I shut the engine off... can you detect any motion in yours/hear the turbo whine/etc?

Sorry to hear of your troubles - hope the fix is not difficult for you!

Regards,

Mark

Josh-Mark makes a good point. Remove air supply hose to turbo and inspect turbine. you should be able to spin it freely by hand. If not then it's time for that big turbo . . . :-laf

So I just had the truck power breaked while I was looking under the hood inspecting for leaks. I could not hear anything, but I was getting some exhaust coming from somewhere under the hood. Could not pin point where from. I havent inspected my twins yet, but seems like one would still be working if one is seized.

if you have checked all your connections at the intercooler and the manifold a spray bottle with soapy water will show this just like a hole in a tire. Spray all connections from intercooler and at intake manifold if this doesn't show anything then you need to pressurize your system, 20 psi or less from the hose that hooks to the turbocharger and respray to check for bubbles
