i installed a fass system the cut a tee in the line for the sender. 2 weeks ago my buddy put same one in and his didnt work it was air locked then worked. Mine has been in a week and isn t working. So my questions is are there any tips or info to testing the sender or guage. there is 12v power at both ends . Its driving me nuts im ready to crush it under the wheel :D something sooo smalll can really pick your brain

The FP unit goes through a self test at start up. ie. My truck reads about 15 psi at shut down. (the gauge will stay there like it's stuck) When I turn the key back on the gauge will return to zero. Then start the truck and pressure comes back up. My first unit read 11 psi always. AutoMeter relaced it for free. Hopes this helps. Calvin

I just replied to a post on the "2nd Gen. No Engine/Trans. questions" where someone is inquiring about Autometer Fuel Pressure gauge sending unit placement... ... check out my reply about the "snubber".

i hooked eveything into my friends truck and it works so there must be something wrong w the wire harness do you think the will cover that under the warranty or will they blame that on me ?
