Help!!! Brake lights staying on

HELP!!!! Had the hydro boost cylinder replaced today, as well as i had them tighten the e-brake. The parking brake light is now staying on in the dash, and my REAR BRAKE LIGHTS will NOT go off unless I unhook both negative cables#@$%!... Any ideas? TIA... Scott

Check the switch on the brake pedal. Since you had the hydro-boost replaced, you most likely need to adjust the switch. To adjust it, push the pedal down, then push the switch in towards the pedal, release the pedal. That should reset the switch to its proper location. as far as the parking brake, they probably have the cable too tight and the pedal won't return far enough to contact the switch.
