I took my truck to the tire guy this morning as the right front tire lost 16 psi from 10pm to 9am and guess what. The wheel is cracked on the inside. I have another that is a little dinged. So the truck is in the garage until I come up with at least one if not two OEM alloy wheel.

Any one have two laying around?? actually a set of four would be better.

I should have bought soem this winter when I was looking but now there don't seem to be any for sale any where.

HELP

Ted

Is there any way you could at least get the cracked one replaced by the dealer? If you have not been out pounding the truck there is NO reason for a wheel to crack. Sorry to hear of your trouble, but I know of no alloys laying around not used.

Those newer alloy wheels are known for cracking and leaking. If you have warranty on the truck, you can get them replaced for free. Otherwise get steel, as any alloys you find laying around are likely to have been removed because they leaked. You can try calling tire shops and see if they had any come in on trade.
