HELP: Bucking problem when putting truck in gear

HELP: ATS Transmission Problem???

*Hopefully by changing the title of my thread, I can get some more input*



My truck starts up fine and idles normal. When it is put into gear the RPM's jump up causing the truck to want to take-off. It just happens for a split second and then idles back down and all is well again.



My transmission is NOT stock. I have an ATS TQ. Converter and VB, and a larger dia. billet input shaft and upgraded clutch packs.



BUT, who's to say it is the transmission. I've had my truck to friendly dealers and to an ATS transmission shop who actually took the trans. out and inspected it to find no probs.



Any troubleshooting would be appreciated.

maybe the tc is tight enough that it drags the engine idle speed down enough just for a split second to engage the antistall like the manuals have... that will give the engine more fuel to keep from stalling. . with it doing so, the engine rpm surges and trys to drive the truck forward???
