Competition Help building traction bars

Ok so far I have 12 feet of solid rolled steel that is 1 1/2in in diameter. Should I make 2 6ft pieces or would shorter bars be better? Also could someone post pics of how they mounted them? I would like to get some ideas on how to do it.

For that width of bar I would go 5' max.

Thanks, I was wondering if they were thick enough for 6'. Any ideas on the heims or is there another way to mount them?

You should be able to make some bolt on brackets for your 12v truck.
