Have found a campground for the rv-- 2001 3500 HO

Sounds like you have your diagnosis, throw out bearing.



Just curious, what were the symptoms/drivability issues that you could report from the drivers seat that lead you to this diagnosis?



Also any relevant history, truck mileage, any clutch repairs?

Ended up at a shop in Manchester Nh at the recommendation of the campground owner who went out of his way to help out. Gary--my symptoms were high speed squeal often on startup and sometimes shifting which was a little harder than normal.

had a Southbend con ofe in for 160000 miles-- clutch showed min wear on face but throw out bearing was cracked and broken -- had them put in a new Luk HD kit as I couldn't wait for the time to get a new Southbend delivered as I had sold the RV and had

to keep a delivery schedule. currently have 251905 miles and works great. Yes I did try the companion section--but not much replys in that part of country-- Sorry for the delay In answering we just got back to GA yesterday
