Sixpac---

I had the same experience!!!! I put some of the wife's lotion on my left hand and FORCED my hand through that hole in the dash framing!!! Then went around with my right to just push the bundle over a little bit and could then work the tape off with my left hand-- and there was WAY tooo much tape! Anyway, after this, I'm going down to Bubba's cattle farm this weekend and help birth some calves--- much easier!

Glad you found the connector-- I just posted about this on another thread-- HO cummins 04/ swexlin...

If you remove the bolt on the right side of harness the whole assembly can be remove ,it will less than 1 minute to install brake pin connector.

Remove knee bolster (2 Phillips screws), and you can work the trailer connector behind the harness and onto the other half (connector) attached to the bracket under the dash, to the left of the steering column.

Push little button on arm above big wire connector and it will slide down and off. Then you can move this big assembly out of way a little bit and might be able to see brake controller connector behind it. Mine was taped to another bundle and I used my finger to break the tape and then the connector pulled down and over to right. The connector does not have a lot of cable with it, but it is sufficient. Don't forget to replace big assembly onto its mounting (push up until it clicks).
