I just got my truck back today from the trans shop... . I had a heavy duty trans put in. My truck rocks, triple disc converter, high performance VB, billit shafts and so on. It is an amazing set-up. I drove the ruck for about 50 miles so far and no problems. However, I decided to check for codes and P0700 is popping up. I believe P0700 is Transmission Control System (MIL REQUEST).

What does this mean and how do I get it fixed?

Please someone help me out here.

Thanks!

Kid, What year truck? On the 48RE's when the VB gets Modified to bump up the line pressure, and the TV is tweaked, it sets a code. On the older 47RE that problem was fixed by installing either a resistor or a voltage regulator to fool the PCM into thinking that the line pressure was normal/OK. A friend of mine had his '05 done at a Buddies transmission shop, and he ended up with some codes. It took a phone call to DTT, some VB tweaks, and time to sort out.

You need to take the truck back to the shop, and they should stand behind their work.

Hope this helps; Moose

Thanks MOOSE! I already made the call and waiting for a return call. I am SO happy with this transmission I can't stop grinning. I just want everything perfect.

Thanks Again.

Anyone else have anything to add? I'm all ears.
