Help I have a d350 with a bad rear end, will a d250 rear end fit?

Can I change dually brakes to the srw axle and will the dually tires fit still? Any sugestions? I have 10" wide wheels for the srw rear, will it look GAY? Anyone know how much the d61 with 3. 07 gears is worth? It might be up for sale if it doesn't fit!!!!!!!!!1

The single tire rear axle measures around 52"

The cab and chassis rear measures around 56"

The dually rear measures 60"

These measurements were made from the brake mounting flanges. Give or take 1/2" eather way.

If yours is the U code 307 gear. It can be hard to find. It took me 6 months to find one last year for mine. But being 2 wheel drive. Check in the junk yards. Grab a model 80 from a 94 up. I have measured them for frame spacing and mounting pads. They measure the same as our trucks. The model 80 gears are 354 and 410.

If you need a 307 ring and pinion for a model 70. I have the set from a bent housing I removed from my truck last summer.

What is the matter with your rear end?

The 10" rims you have for the single tire axle. If they have a lot of positive offset. You might get by with them. It would need at least a 6" positive off set to do it. Then the tires couldn't over hang the inside of the rims.

The next thing is the 60 axle. I wouldn't want to tow with it to heavy. I bet you could bend the axle tubes. I can show you a model 70 laying in my garage with 1 3/16" bend to it. The bend is the same angle as the drive shaft. :{

It took a while to find that one. A couple of visits to frame shops. Finaly found the problem on a 4 wheel lazer alienment rack.
