HELP!! Drove my teachers PS and liked it!

During AG class I got to take my teachers 2000 F-250 crew cab 4x4 PS with an auto, to get the tire fixed. I really liked the cab with the factory buckets and the roomy cab, big dash, and floor configuration.

As for the power I think it would beat a stock dodge #ad
IF it didn't have that really long period of turbo lag. Two more bad performance problems was that it wouldn't powerbrake at the stop light and it wouldn't breakem loose going around a corner. #ad


Don't worry the worst thing I would do in the future is combing a Ford body and a High performance cummins engine.

AS much as we may like to razz the Ford guys, theres nothing wrong with the PS diesel - it's not built quite as durable as our Cummins, but with decent care will probably outlast the truck's body! Add the snappier acceleration off the line in routine everyday driving (we don't ALL pull heavy loads ALL the time!), and you have a very pleasing all-around truck. If *I* wasn't driving a Dodge/Cummins, I would be behind the wheel of a Ford PS - and not be the LEAST ashamed!

The guy I bought my 5th wheel from has a Crew Cab SD 4wd - we went to lunch in his truck while the trailer was being inspected at Camping World. I could drive one of those bad boys with the leather interior and a real back seat. My dad & I both drive 2500 4wd Cummins (me '00 6spd, dad '96 5spd - my old truck, I'm a good son ) & we both liked it. The only thing I really don't like about the SDs is that ugly *** dash... ... I know, I'm nitpicking

I drove a 4x4 2001 model ps. I think the quick get up is the 3. 73 rearend. I admit I did like the 4 doors. For me that is insignificant cause I always drive anyway. I would not trade my 01 HO for one of the PStrokes. My brother bought a new ps 2wd. I have not drove it yet nor do I really want to. It is a pretty color though.

Im sorry,i just dont get it... ... . nice cab???its the ugliest interior i ever seen. a 70 chevy truck has nicer dash & more cumfortable seats,ps will outlast the truck????i had to work on ford diesel tow trucks 10 years ago,brand new,spent twice as much time in the shop then on the road

if ford was the last auto maker left on earth i whould learn how to hitchhike(too lazy to say walk)

Boy am I glad Dodge makes trucks with Cummins engines. I like Ford trucks too but I'd hate to see Uncle Joe have to hitch-hike. Cummins engines and big asses are what makes me happy!

Sniffin' too many diesel fumes??

Kinda seems to me like somebody here is either sniffing a HEALTHY dose of #2 from his DODGE/CUMMINS or laid next to his chrome polish bottle/can with the lid off,,Its does do strange things too ones mind... .....
