Archived Help!! Electrical Questions

Hey all,



Got my truck all tore apart trying to put back in the FMS box. Bought a TST powergrabber to use for my ground wire and using a Blue Chip pump cover for the power wire.



2 questions:



1. Been a while since I used a electrical tester, how do I setup my tester to see if current will travel thru a wire?



2. Near as I could read It looks as though I want to ground the black harness for the pump to the Black w' brown wire on the incoming wiring harness. Is this correct.



Sure could use some help here, got the truck pulled apart and i need er in a couple hours here.

Can't help you on the specific wiring, but to check continuity in a wire or circuit set the meter for resistance (ohms) and when you touch the probes together the needle should peg on the end of the scale. (no resistance)

Call chip at blue chip he could get this strightened out 888-628-7373. I know it id the black wire closes to thr motor you want to connect. OverFueled
