Archived HELP EMG DRIVE SHAFT center bearing on long bed

Help making a trip to south carolina and back to michigan this weekend moving, and my center driveshaft carrier bering just went out on my 2004 CTD stick shift long bed!!!!



This is the center bearing in the middle of the rear drive shaft.



Does any know where i can get one and have one next day air ups.



any information would help manufactur, part cumber, cross reffrence ect.



Dealer is stating that they are on national backorder :--)

I think it may be too new, but have you tried a local autoparts shop? or even a 4x4 shop in the area your at?

I had multiple probs with mine on my duallie, I ended up having a custom 1pc. driveshaft made, after the 4th -or 5th one.....

yep checked napa they stated oem only

I did a couple of searches and turned up nothing. If the rubber part is ok you might get lucky and find something at a driveshaft place or a bearing outlet. Good luck. bg

Kinda stinks that a newer truck like your's lost the center bearing. You might get quicker results sourcing a one piece at a locak drive saft shop. Usually that can take your yoks and make a one piece if they don't have the parts . . . might even be cheaper in the long run.
