Anyone using just b100 all the time?

I am new to TDR and am strongly considering producing my own BIO100 at home. I have sources for oil and am ready to make my own production / washing station from a great set of plans. I live in Utah and will have to deal with cold winters, but am excited about bio diesel for many reasons. These include operating cost, better fuel lubricity, independence from gas companies, etc. I have a '99 24 valve with 92K miles, upgraded "RV" injectors, soon to have a DTT transmission and an Edge comp box. I have gauges and 4" exhaust as well as a K/N air filter. I am also set to have a F. A. S. S. system installed very soon. I have not been able to determine if I will have any "rubber in my fuel system" problems from the research I have done.

Does anyone know if I need to replace anything in the fuel system (lines, etc. ) before jumping into this? Also, is there anything I can do / ought to do to compensate for timing changes caused by running bio diesel? Anything else I should be aware of? Thanks in advance for your help.

Fuel lines are fine. The only issue i have found is the big seal on the fuel filter is larger when you take it out. It swells, not causing any trouble, but it is larger than the filter when removed, it must not be bio friendly.

Timing is not an issue on the 2 gen trucks, mine is a 98. 5.

Best info on bio,svo.

Search the site and learn the basics, learn to do a titration. Check some of the oil before u pick it up and commit to hauling it away. If the titration is over 6 g/l i would leave it alone. Also stay from hydrogenated oil, it will make good summer fuel but more trouble than it's worth in cool weather. Here is a link for titrations.

Thanks a bunch for your reply. I am going to produce biodiesel with a buddy. We have three sources of oil and are soon to get underway. I'll let you know how it goes. Thanks again.
