I just got my Di-Pricol FP Gauge kit and i have everything i need... .

Gauge

Isolater

High Pressure hose

Banjo Bolt

Nylon tubing

Needle Valve

gauge Mount

Now my question is: Does anyone have pics of where to put Banjo bolt? I was wondering if anyone knows where or has done a FP gauge install write up?

Where does banjo bolt go? how do i fill isolater? where do i fill isolater?

Is there any torque specs for Banjo bolt?

Do i need to use sealant tape or permatrex on any of the fittings? If so which ones?

THANKS Oo. Oo.

I have the same setup , albeit on an 02 dodge . I don't remember too well since I installed it like 3 years ago . If I remember right the instructions were pretty good . Call www.genosgarage.com and get their fuel pressure guage line that eliminates the shrader valve setup . Mine gave me problems till I did that . Hook up your fuel line then crack the fitting at your pressure guage mechanical isolator and bump the starter to bleed the air . Fill your other side of isolator with antifreeze and you're good to go .

I put the banjo on the bottom of the fuel filter. Some put it on the inlet to the injector pump, but I have a Jake brake there and there isn't room for it. Bleed the fuel at the isolator with the bleed screw backed off. Follow the directions on the instrument line. Fill the top with your anti-freeze, fill the line and connect everything. Don't worry about a little air in it. I used RV water tank anti-freeze in mine.

I have pictures of my banjo bolt on my CP3 in my readers rigs. I just did the same install on my dads 06 and it looks identical to mine, so the picture is good for that one as well. The isolator, I was told just to fill it and not the line, so I did it that way. Both of them, mine and dad's work fine, no noise and no vibration in the readings. Mine has been on there that way for 3 years, dads a month and a half. There is also a picture of where I mounted the isolator, and my dads is in the same place on the firewall lip. I was told not to fill the line by the guys at DPP, who I bought the gauges from. It works fine, I used standard antifreeze in the isolator. When bleeding the air out of the fuel side of it, it helps to have someone in the truck to turn the key on, to get the fuel to flow and shut it off when the air is out of it. I covered the plastic line with wire loom to protect it from rubbing and tie wrapped it to keep it from touching things it shouldn't. Just allow for a little shake between the engine and isolator. Good luck.

Thanks for the info... . Is there any tips or tricks i should know before i do this tommorrow?

How many sealer washers do i use on the banjo bolt? Just 1 right?

Curious cause they come in a 2 pack... . THANKS
