HI everyone! The other day I noticed my '89 leaking something from the front driver's side. It turned out to be fuel, and its coming from the fuel screw on the injection pump. Its mostly just a drip that sometimes slows to almost nothing and then becomes steady at times. I can actually see the fuel seep out from the threads and drip down. Everything above it is dry. Does anyone know what caused the leak and how to fix it? I turned the fuel screw up about a year ago when I put the HX35 & intercooler on. I haven't had any problems up until now. I only turned it like one to one and a half turns. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

O-ring? DGK121 is the p/n for the reseal kit, any authorized Bosch service place should be able to get you that, I paid under $20 for the last one I bought.

Sounds like the o-ring went bad. That is one of the few seals you can replace with the pump still on the truck. Just take some Loctite and "lock" the jambnut in place on the fuel screw, then back it out with the screwdriver. Change your o-ring, and put it back where it was. It may require some fine tuning once reassembled, but you will be close to where you were.

Thanks a million guys! That's just what I wanted to hear! I was thinking it was something along those lines, but I was afraid to just take the screw out without checking the procedure. Thanks again!
