What type of fluid are you guys running w/Goerend Converters?

Dexron III/ Mercon with the additive that comes with his transmission. Give Dave a call and he will tell you, +4 is not necessary nor worth the extra cost. Jeremy texasdieselshop.com
 
atf +3 or dextron III if its light duty. If it tows heavy then mercon V if you can get it of ATF +4 mainly because of the higher boiling point. If the oil boils bad enough it will puke onto the exhaust manifold and the insurance comp[any will be buying a new truck. The best way to do it in my opinion, is to but in dextron III and an additive for a thousand miles or so. Then do an oil + filter change and put in the ATF+4.
 
Just bought 20 quarts at Napa. Valvoline full synthetic ATF+4 for 3. 99 a quart. Alot cheaper than the stealership's 7. 50... :D
