I had to crank it ALOT to get my truck to start this morning. The fuel system lost its prime like when the rubber fuel lines had gone bad in the past up by the engine and trans. But that can't be as I installed Larry B's marine fuel hose last year. So I decide to look under the truck and there is a 6 inch in diameter diesel puddle under the truck about one foot back from the left front tire under the frame rail. Any ideas of what's down in that area that could be leaking? I hope I don't have to replace the metal lines but it is a 13 year old truck.

If I do have to replace the metal lines, what and how are you all doing it? What size is each line?

Thanks.

Craig

There are a few things that it could be. The most likely is the fuel heater. Email me at -- email address removed -- for my write up on the 12 valve fuel system, how it works and how to fix it. It has how to deal with the fuel heater including pictures.
